Highlights of the Celebration
- Maha Saptami (October 19th): The festival begins with the auspicious ‘Kalash Sthapana’ and ‘Maha Saptami’ puja, followed by cultural performances by local artists.
- Maha Ashtami (October 20th): Experience the grandeur of ‘Sandhi Puja’ and immerse yourself in the rhythmic beats of the ‘Dhak’. Evening performances include classical dance and music shows.
- Maha Navami (October 21st): Participate in the vibrant ‘Kumari Puja’ and enjoy the special ‘Bhog’ distribution. The evening will feature a variety of cultural programs, including folk dances and drama.
- Vijaya Dashami (October 22nd): The day of ‘Visarjan’ where we bid farewell to Goddess Durga with a heavy heart. Join us for the ‘Sindoor Khela’ and the procession to the river for immersion. Evening celebrations include a grand feast and community gathering.
- Post-Vijaya Dashami (October 23rd-24th): Enjoy the concluding ceremonies and community get-together with various fun activities and games for children and families.
